The Bureau Founding Member Launch – Class of 2022

On October 28th 2022, the first ever Bureau Founding Member event was launched. The launch entailed a classy, dim lit ambience filled with excitement, lots of Bureau merchandise and friendly faces as The Bureau welcomed its first 20 founding members into the space.

Who are founding members?

Our founding members are a group of 20 professionals with a passion for something within their own industries, which includes but isn’t limited to finance, wellbeing, education, investing and more. They are one of the first to anchor, inspire and nurture the budding Bureau community that embody our core values of community, authenticity and growth.

We interviewed some of our founding members, and asked them questions on why they chose to be a part of The Bureau community and what excites them the most about the space.

Our two male founding members highlighted the importance for men to be part of such communities which focus on female empowerment, and female entrepreneurs, bringing a shift into the nature of how we generally have seen office spaces and corporations be run from the past. Founder of Silkhaus, Aahan Bhojani highlighted the importance of private offices at The Bureau. “I think it’s going to change the way offices work and how companies actually operate and so am very excited for it”.

Men’s wellness coach Adil Hussain says he hopes to host workshops in the space which can help develop the communication between men and women, removing barriers, and help bring men and women closer together.

Many of the female founding members were excited about belonging in a community focused on female entrepreneurs. Aakanksha Tangri, founder of Re:Set stated: “its important to have a sacred space for females like this. Meeting like minded women, and having a safe space to share about our challenges, ambitions amongst other things”.

Having founding members at The Bureau is one of the first ways in which we showcase our love for community and support, along with female leadership. Our Marketing Manager, Anna Sadeghpour says “they will anchor The Bureau community and attract like minded people in the space. And this is what we need if we want to build a strong community”.

Our founding members will be leading the way for the rest of our future members in the space to help build and support one another, growing together in this space.
